Tichina Arnold has had enough of infidelity and has called it quits to her husband, Rico Hines, a former assistant basketball coach at St. John’s University. Arnold ousted him in a very public way.
According to TMZ, Tichina Arnold sent a group text to her family and friends that featured a sex tape of her husband Rico Hines and his mistress exposing,

“It’s over between Rico and I. This is where I part ways and all bets are off.”

“I can’t for the life of me understand why Rico would video himself f—ing ‘raw dog’ ONE of his MANY extraneous whores that ‘trick’ on him for his money.”

Tichina also named 20 of the women, who she labels “extraneous Kim Kardashian wanna be’s.”. Tichina says she’s concerned about STDs and plans to get tested.

Tichina and Rico married in Hawaii in 2012 and have no children together. It’s been confirmed that the two are divorcing.

We’re sorry to hear this, and wish Tichina well during this time.

Black Actors Snubbed for Oscar Nominations

Published by:

Well the nominations are in…

Screen Shot 2016-01-14 at 9.43.54 AM

The Oscar nominations for the 88th annual awards were announced Thursday morning from the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles. Academy President Cheryl Boone, Ang Lee, Guillermo del Toro and John Krasinski took the stage to announce the directors, actors, movies, and industry hopefuls who will be competing for the prestigious gold statuette.

“The Revenant” led this year’s class of Oscar nominees with 12 nominations, including Best Director (Alejandro González Iñárritu), Best Actor (Leonardo DiCaprio) and Best Motion Picture. The next contender was the survivalist action adventure “Mad Max: Fury Road,” which earned 10 nominations, including Best Motion Picture and Best Director (George Miller). “The Martian” walked away with seven nominations, reported Bay News 9.

Onlookers were surprised, yet thrilled, to see Sylvester Stallone included in this year’s nominations for “Creed.” Although his cast mate, Michael B. Jordan and the film director, Ryan Coogler received no acknowledgement. “Straight Outta Compton” was nominated for Best Original Screenplay, but social media was quick to point out that minority talent was overlooked.

Not a single black actor was nominated for an award. Actors like Will Smith and Idris Elba, who were nominated for Golden Globes, were left off the Oscar nominees list. The internet quickly started trending for “Beasts of No Nation”, the Elba film that had been rumored to be an Oscar contender all season.

Several media outlets have predicted that #OscarsSoWhite might start trending again this year as a result of the Academy’s lack of minority participation.

Not including talented black actors has now become a trend and fans are outraged. We saw a similar situation last year when nominations were announced but excluded “Selma” director Ava DuVernay and actor David Oyelowo, who played the lead character for Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

It should be noted that Reginald Hudlin will produce the 88th Oscars and Chris Rock will serve as Host. So, technically speaking, there will be some diversity.

The awards ceremony will air Feb. 28.

Celine Dion’s husband dies in Las Vegas

Published by:

Rene Angelil, 73, Celine Dion’s husband and manager, died Thursday after a long battle with throat cancer, officials and family members said

Angelil died in the suburban Las Vegas home in Henderson he shared with Dion and their three children, according to the Associated Press. Angelil died of natural causes under the care of a doctor, Clark County Coroner John Fudenberg said. No further investigation was expected.

A post on Dion’s Facebook page said: “It is with deep sadness that we announce that René Angélil, aged 73, died this morning at her residence in Las Vegas after a long and courageous fight against cancer. The family wishes to live the mourning in privacy.”

U.S. Sen. Harry Reid of Nevada issued a statement saying he has always appreciated the couple’s support because they took a risk on Las Vegas when Dion began her residency in 2002 at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace.

“As a result, we in Las Vegas feel Céline Dion is one of ours,” Reid said. “She has brought so much positive attention to our city. Her love affair with René and her family was something that was so admirable.”

Calling Angelil an amazing showman and businessman, Caesars President Gary Selesner said it was impossible to overstate the impact he and Dion have had on the history of entertainment in Las Vegas and at Caesars Palace.

Dion’s shows on Saturday and Sunday were cancelled. Angelil was born in Montreal to a Canadian mother and Syrian father. He became the love of Dion’s life and is credited for her huge success, guiding her career for most of her life.
